We do body detoxing, so how about an emotional detox? When and how long do you vent with your friends and how do you move on? When does it become toxic? Noticing what is alive and true by asking yourself, “what do I know for sure?” This is how you know if you are present or if you are creating a larger un-true narrative. You project into the future and you regress and focus on past hurts but what about staying present to what you know for sure.
